About IEI ALC
It is a prominent organization of Engineers comprising of all the branches of Engineering with its headquarters at Kolkata, was created at Aligarh in 1993 and inaugurated by the then Vice-Chancellor of AMU, Prof. M. Naseem Farooqui and is functioning on the campus organizing regular technical activities such as seminars, workshops, and biannual examinations leading to “AMIE” certificate equivalent to the graduate degree being awarded by technical institutions like IITs, NITs, and Engineering college. The Diploma
holders from Polytechnics and Non-diploma holders possessing minimum educational qualification equivalent to Higher Secondary/Intermediate are eligible to take this examination.
